FOUNDER AND DIRECTOR

Konstantine Kobakhidze graduated from the faculty of engineering physics of the Polytechnic Institute of Georgia.

He holds an academic doctor’s degree in engineering physics.

Since 1977, he is scientist at Sokhumi Institute of Physics and Technologies n.a. Ilia Vekua and currently, director’s adviser on renewable and alternative energy issues.

Founder and director of the following organizations:

• Small Enterprise “Aisi” (1990-1993 co-founder)

• Helios LLC (1994-1995 co-founder)

• Solar Energy LLC (1996-1999, Founder / Director)

• A (A) “Sun and Earth” (1999-2008, co-founder / Technical director)

• A (A) “Sustainable Energy Center – Sun House” (2008-2011, Co-Founder / Technical Director)

• “Sun House” LLC (from 2011 to present, founder / director)

He is the author of many scientific works and publications about renewable and alternative energy.

During the last 30 years Konstantin Kobakhidze supervised over 500 small and large projects in planning, designing and installing stage, in the field of solar power, both in Georgia and abroad.

For many years now, he participates in congresses, conferences and exhibitions in the field of solar energy in different countries of the world.
