Within different projects, starting from the year 2000, more than 200 solar photovoltaic systems have been installed in more than 70 high-mountain villages of Georgia. Among them are the villages of Tusheti, Tianeti, Kartli, Adjara: Ardoti, Andaqi, Archilo, Bakhao, Chimgha, Khakhabo, Giorgtsminda, Khone, Zeisteco, Ukanakho, Matura, Ino, Chicho, Akhadi, Vakis Sopeli,  Khoshara, Migriaulta, Akhadi, Chalakhevi, Tsabaurta, Ache, Ghule, Tsie, Khobca, Mutso, Tsinkhadu, Ukanakhadu, Chkhuba, Saterze. Tkhemala, Kudatkhe, Mekheti, Trekhvi, Pitnara, Merisi, Villages of Kintrishi valley and others. The capacity of each station is 40 to 240 watts.

In addition, in the year 2011, in the frame of the Czech government grant, a large project was implemented for the population and guesthouses of Tusheti. Under the scope of the project Sun House installed:

– 80 sets of solar photovoltaic systems, with total power of 30 kW;

– 110 kits of solar water heating systems, with total capacity of 21,5 tons of hot water a day;

– 60 sets of mobile photovoltaic systems (for nomadic shepherds of Tusheti), with total power of 6 kW.
