In the years 2007-2009, in the frame of the grant (grant beneficiary was Sokhumi Institute of Physics and Technology) of Georgian National Scientific Fund, in high mountainous non-electrified villages of Pshav-Khevsureti and Khevi, a research was conducted to investigate the potential of renewable energies, including solar, wind, hydro and biomass.
In addition, based on the research and meteorological data, we have developed a new version of Georgian solar cadaster, which is significantly different from the version of the Soviet era.
